Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff: Lead and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, providing guidance and training on service standards and safety procedures.
- Schedule and assign tasks: Create work schedules and assign cleaning duties to staff to ensure all areas are covered efficiently.
- Inspect work: Conduct quality control checks to ensure cleaning meets established standards and all areas are spotless.
- Handle administrative duties: Prepare reports on cleaning operations, track staff performance, and handle timesheets.
- Address client needs: Handle customer complaints and feedback, and communicate with clients to ensure their requirements are met.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Typical qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or supervisory role is often required.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
