A cleaning supervisor
directs cleaning crews to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
. Key responsibilities include creating work schedules, training staff, inspecting work, managing inventory/equipment, and resolving client complaints. They must possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of cleaning methods, and a safety-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, coach, and deploy cleaning staff to ensure productivity and adherence to company policies.
Quality Control: Inspect completed cleaning tasks to ensure they meet quality, safety, and health standards.
Operational Planning: Develop cleaning schedules,, rosters, and work plans for staff.
Inventory & Equipment Management: Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials, order supplies, and ensure equipment is maintained or repaired.
Client Relations: Liaise with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and address feedback.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members follow safety procedures, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning reports to management regarding staff attendance, inventory, and site performance.
