Job Description

  • Supervise cleaners and cleaning activities at assigned locations.
  • Allocate daily cleaning duties and work areas to cleaning personnel.
  • Conduct daily briefings and communicate site requirements to cleaners.
  • Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, grooming and work performance.
  • Inspect completed cleaning works and ensure required cleanliness standards are achieved.
  • Ensure toilets, common areas, offices, corridors and other assigned areas are cleaned according to schedule.
  • Monitor the proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and inform management when replenishment is required.
  • Train and guide cleaners on proper cleaning methods and safe working procedures.
  • Ensure cleaners use appropriate PPE and comply with workplace safety requirements.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules, inspection checklists and other required site records.
  • Handle minor client requests and immediately escalate significant issues to the Operations Executive or Manager.
  • Arrange work coverage when cleaners are absent, where instructed by management.
  • Report equipment defects, accidents, incidents and operational problems.
  • Assist with periodic, specialised and ad-hoc cleaning works.
  • Perform other cleaning supervisory duties assigned by management.
