1. Truck Driving & Delivery Responsibilities
- Operate company truck (typically Class 3 / Class 4, depending on vehicle size) to carry out daily deliveries and collections.
- Load and unload goods safely using proper handling methods or equipment (trolleys, pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
- Ensure goods are delivered accurately according to Delivery Orders (DOs) and customer requirements.
- Plan delivery routes for time and fuel efficiency.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, such as fluid levels, tyre condition, brakes, and cleanliness.
- Report any defects or incidents involving the vehicle.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety protocols, and company policies.
2. Warehouse Operations
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantity and quality, and report discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for outgoing deliveries.
- Perform stocktaking, cycle counts, and assist in inventory accuracy.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of goods to prevent damage and improve workflow.
- Operate warehouse tools/equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift-if licensed).
- Update stock movement records in system or manual log sheets.
3. General Logistics & Support Duties
- Assist the warehouse supervisor or logistics team with daily operations.
- Prepare delivery documentation (DOs, receipts, collection notes).
- Coordinate delivery schedules with sales, operations, and customers.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse and loading areas.
- Support ad-hoc tasks related to warehouse or logistics as required.
Key Requirements / Skills
- Valid driving license (Class 3 / Class 4 depending on truck type).
- Good driving record and familiarity with local roads.
- Physically fit for loading/unloading tasks.
- Basic warehouse operations knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Forklift license (advantage but not always required).
Workdays- 5.5 days
Working Hours | Mon - Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm | Sat 8.30am - 12.30pm
