Job Description:
As a Class 4 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a key role in supporting our roadwork maintenance and construction projects across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 4 vehicles, including tipper trucks, lorries, or other heavy vehicles for transporting construction materials and equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of materials to/from work sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials when necessary.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspection and maintenance checks report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company driving policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle.
- Assist the ground crew in basic site operations when not driving.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class 4 Singapore driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience in a construction or similar industry preferred.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks if needed.
- Familiar with Singapore road safety and traffic regulations.
- Ability to communicate in basic English.
- Punctual, responsible, and a team player.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts if required by the project schedule.
