Cargo Assistant Class 4 Driver ( 1 year contract)
5.5-day. Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm Sat 8.30am-12.30pm
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Ensure vehicle is maintained tidy, clean & roadworthy
- Ensure equipment e.g., trolley, pallet jacks ETC. are kept in working order.
- Ensure to self- behaviour along with assistant at customer's premises, public areas ETC.
- Coordinate/ work closely with Traffic Coordinator for all delivery & collection
- Ensure/ issue Transportation Slip when doing delivery
- Report to Traffic Coordinator/ Supervisor/ Manager for any delay or issues that may arise during delivery or collection
- Provide POD for every delivery done in a timely manner
- Ensure/ issue Export Collection Slip when collecting export cargoes to Airport
- Ensure the safe handling of all products during picking, packing, loading, discharging, and stocking to avoid any damages
- Simple administrative duties
- Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation
- Ensure accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities
- Ensure safe driving at all times, adhering to traffic rules and road safety
- Other responsibilities stated in the Quality Manual/ Procedure
- Other responsibilities given by the superior
