Job Summary
You will handle loading and unloading cargo, deliver and collect various items across multiple locations using different routes, and ensure all deliveries and collections match the required documents. You will use an in-house mobile application to record timestamps and perform other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently to prepare for deliveries and collections
- Deliver and collect a wide variety of items to designated locations following planned routes to meet schedule requirements
- Verify and tally cargo against delivery and collection documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Use the in-house mobile application to record timestamps and track delivery progress throughout the day
- Perform duties courteously and professionally to maintain positive customer and team interactions
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to support daily operations
- Leave work early if all assigned tasks are completed before the scheduled knock-off time
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid Class 4 driving license
Other Information
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm Saturday, 8am to 1pm
- Location: 81 Alps Avenue
- Salary range: $2,800 to $4,500 for Class 4 24ft Lorry Driver
- Additional trip compensation: $50 per trip after working hours
- Sunday or Public Holiday work compensation: $120 per day
- Benefits include insurance, medical coverage, annual and medical leave, performance-based annual bonus, and salary increments
- Vehicle may be driven home if parking space is available
