Job Summary
Drive Class 3 vehicles to transport goods, documents, or passengers safely and on time while maintaining vehicle condition and following safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive Class 3 vehicles (cars, vans, light goods vehicles up to 3,000 kg) safely and responsibly to assigned locations
- Transport goods, documents, or passengers according to delivery schedules
- Load and unload items as required to support delivery operations
- Perform basic vehicle checks including fuel level, tyre condition, lights, and cleanliness to ensure vehicle readiness
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and good working condition through regular upkeep
- Follow traffic laws, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations to ensure compliance and safety
- Plan and adjust routes efficiently to avoid traffic delays and meet delivery timelines
- Complete delivery records, trip logs, and delivery orders accurately and promptly
- Report any accidents, traffic offences, or vehicle issues immediately to the appropriate personnel
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with Singapore roads and GPS/navigation apps to optimize route planning
- Basic communication skills in English or Mandarin to interact effectively during deliveries
- Clean driving record preferred to demonstrate responsible driving history
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet delivery demands
