Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation & Safety: Safely drive lorries, trucks, or prime movers, complying with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and parking rules.
- Loading & Unloading: Secure cargo and assist with or supervise the loading/unloading of goods, ensuring items are not damaged.
- Logistics & Planning: Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and communicate any delays to dispatchers.
- Maintenance & Inspections: Perform daily checks (oil, tires, brakes) and routine maintenance to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Documentation: Handle delivery orders, invoices, and logbooks, including recording mileage and fuel usage.
Requirements:
