DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate vehicles in accordance with all Singapore traffic laws and regulations, applicable US Navy instructions/directives and applicable installation instruction/directives.
- The safety of passengers is the prime responsibility of all drivers.
- At the beginning and end of their shift, they inspect their vehicle to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
- Transport quests to/from assigned places.
- Greet passengers and engage them in conversation in a bid to make them feel welcomed.
- Turn in lost/found items to Centerra main office and keep a lookout for suspicious activities on the van.
- Drive shuttle bus/truck on predefined route
- Ensure that duty drivers complete the daily driver's checklist prior to operating the vehicles.
- Conduct compliance surveillance of shuttle bus operations to ensure contract compliance with emphasis on safety and schedule.
- Coordinate shuttle bus and taxi schedules to ensure that services are completed in accordance with the contract and requested itineraries.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Clean driving record with valid Singapore driving license.
EDUCATION:
- Minimum High School education
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of clean driving record
