As a Claims Executive, you will take ownership of the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely and accurate handling of tanker-related claims while delivering exceptional service to our clients. You will work closely with underwriters, surveyors, brokers, and legal partners to settle claims efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, investigate, and manage tanker and marine insurance claims
- Evaluate policy coverage and determine claim validity
- Coordinate with vessel owners, charterers, surveyors, and third parties
- Prepare and negotiate claims settlements and recoveries
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards
- Provide timely updates and reports to stakeholders
- Support risk mitigation and loss control initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum 25+ years of claims experience in tanker or marine insurance
- Strong understanding of tanker operations and relevant marine insurance principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
