Job Summary

As a Claims Executive at Crawford & Company, you will manage Property, Casualty, and Work Injury Compensation (WICA) claims from notification through settlement, applying expert judgment and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver timely, fair, and accurate claim resolutions within a global leader in claims management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end handling of Property, Casualty, and WICA claims to ensure efficient and compliant claim resolution
  • Investigate claims thoroughly by reviewing coverage, assessing liability, and determining compensability to support accurate adjudication
  • Negotiate and settle claims within established authority levels, applying best practices to achieve fair outcomes
  • Identify and escalate potential fraud indicators to protect company and client interests
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate claim documentation and records to support audit and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate proactively and empathetically with clients and policyholders to provide clear updates on claim status
  • Adhere strictly to service level agreements and regulatory requirements to uphold operational standards
  • Handle enquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally to maintain client satisfaction and trust
  • Process and request external financial payments accurately and timely to facilitate claim settlements
  • Uphold Crawford's ethics, values, and service standards in all claim management activities

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in any field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience handling Property and/or Casualty claims, including Work Injury Compensation
  • Familiarity with policy wordings, claims adjudication, and end-to-end claims administration
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and claims operations
  • CGI (Singapore) qualification
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated through sound judgment and decision-making in claims handling
  • Clear, professional communication skills with tact and cultural awareness to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a customer-focused environment
  • Willingness to work shifts as required
  • Strong written and spoken English proficiency (mandatory)
