Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a background in claims handling, operations, or administration, who brings strong communication skills and a dynamic approach. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and enthusiastic about building capability across claims delegated authority governance, compliance reporting, audit support, and operational data integrity.

In addition to gaining deeper exposure to the claims delegated authority landscape, the successful applicant will also develop a wide range of transferable skills – including stakeholder management, data analysis, process improvement, governance awareness, and structured problem solving – making this a valuable stepping stone for future career growth within Claims or the broader business.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Governance & Framework Development

  • Work closely with key stakeholders to build out and enhance the claims delegated authority framework across Liberty International Insurance (LII) APAC, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities, controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Gather, assist with analyzing, and collate key information for each delegated authority arrangement to build a holistic view of each account, supporting informed decision making and effective oversight.
  • Support the documentation, mapping, and refinement of processes, controls, and monitoring activities to strengthen claims delegated authority governance.

Audit, Assurance & Compliance

  • Participate in non technical audits, supporting evidence collection, data validation, and process walkthroughs.
  • Consolidate audit findings and supporting documentation into clear, formal audit reports for various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare key compliance reports, including analysis of data across complaints, claims reporting, incidents, and performance scorecards.
  • Ensure all compliance reporting and audit deliverables are completed within the agreed timeframes established with Claims Compliance.

Operational Data Integrity & Financial Controls

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve claims data discrepancies across claims delegated authority portfolios to maintain data accuracy and improve reporting reliability and trend analysis.
  • Conduct trust account reconciliations in line with regulatory obligations and internal financial controls, ensuring accuracy and timely follow up of exceptions.
  • Develop high quality management information (MI) reports that support operational oversight, performance monitoring, and decision making across the business.

Operational Planning & Workflow Management

  • Develop and maintain a highly organized and centralized tracking system to monitor critical upcoming activities, including expiring claims agreements, due diligence document requests, audit schedules, and other key governance milestones.
  • Ensure visibility of upcoming obligations and support timely preparation and delivery of all related operational and compliance requirements.

Project Support & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in project meetings, documenting minutes, action items, and key decisions, ensuring timely follow up and closure.
  • Coordinate communication with various internal and external stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of project activities.
  • Provide administrative, analytical, and operational support to project leads to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders while maintaining accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and high quality work standards.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Solid problem solving skills, including identifying issues and contributing to practical solutions.
  • Understanding (or willingness to develop understanding) of controls, assurance, compliance, and reporting in a regulated environment.
  • Competent data analysis skills.
  • Strong financial literacy, including the ability to support reconciliation activities and identify discrepancies.
  • Proficient with PC based applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other business tools.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
