We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Civil & Structural Manager to join our Technical Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing structural design, coordination, and construction activities, ensuring the successful delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality construction projects.
Work location: Yishun area, near to Khatib MRT
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design & Review
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations and technical specifications
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, standards and project requirements
- Identify and resolve design discrepancies, structural conflicts and constructability issues
Project Coordination & Management
- Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP and other disciplines
- Plan and monitor structural construction sequences, schedules and resource allocation
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors
Quality & Compliance
- Implement quality control procedures for structural works
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and adherence to design
Team Leadership & Support
- Lead and mentor structural engineers, coordinators, and site personnel
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions
- Support value engineering, risk assessment, and problem-solving initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction projects, with experience in residential and commercial projects preferred
- Proven experience in managing structural design and construction teams
