Civil & Structural Engineer / Assistant Civil & Structural Manager

A1 MAIN CONTRACTOR, well established construction company, seeking an experienced Civil & Structural professional to support planning, coordination, and technical delivery of building projects.

Candidates at Senior Engineer, Assistant Manager, or Manager level are welcome, depending on experience and capability.

Overview

This role will be responsible for planning, technical coordination, and structural engineering support for Civil & Structural works. The successful candidate will work closely with project, design, and site teams to ensure constructability, resolve technical issues, and support timely project delivery.

• Support planning and coordination of Civil & Structural works for building projects

• Prepare and review concrete body plans, construction sequencing, and methodologies

• Carry out basic structural design calculations and checks for RC and steel structures

• Review C&S drawings and identify design, coordination, and constructability issues

• Raise and manage RFIs, technical queries, and alternative proposals to resolve site issues

• Coordinate with structural consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams on technical matters

• Provide technical support for structural steel works, including sequencing and interfaces

• Assist in monitoring progress and resolving technical constraints affecting schedule

• Participate in coordination meetings and contribute technical input to the project team

• For Assistant Manager / Manager level:

  • Provide guidance to junior engineers

  • Support the Project Manager in technical planning and decision-making

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline

• 5 years of relevant experience in Civil & Structural works for building projects
  (More experienced candidates may be considered at Manager level)

• Able to prepare concrete body plans and perform basic structural design checks

• Familiar with reinforced concrete construction and site coordination
