Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor subcontractors work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and codes where applicable
- Maintain work performance records, inspection records and other related items
- Coordinate QC inspection schedules with clients and other relevant parties
- Conduct internal/external quality control audits
- Control all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial actions
- Develop and prepare work method statements
- Prepare weekly and monthly QA/QC reports
- Participate in QA/QC meetings with client, subcontractors and project team
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in power or industrial plant construction projects
- Strong knowledge of QC inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes
- Independent, meticulous and organized
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Strong commitment to safety
- Willingness to work extended hours when required and adaptable to construction site conditions
- Project location: Jurong Island (Transport will be provided at designated pick-up points)
