CIVIL PROJECT MANAGER

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects
• Develop project schedules, work programmes, and execution strategies
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables
• Monitor site progress and implement corrective actions when required

Site & Construction Management

• Oversee all site activities and construction operations
• Supervise site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure proper sequencing of works and efficient resource allocation
• Resolve site issues and technical challenges promptly

Cost & Budget Management

• Manage project budgets and control construction costs
• Review and approve progress claims, variation orders, and site expenditures
• Work closely with Quantity Surveyors on cost tracking and forecasting
• Ensure financial performance aligns with project targets

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
• Implement quality control procedures and inspection regimes
• Conduct regular site audits and rectify non-conformance issues
• Ensure proper handover of completed works

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations on-site
• Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM, and all relevant statutory requirements
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox meetings
• Promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and authorities
• Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates
• Manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for permits and approvals

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in civil construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project management
• Familiar with Singapore regulations (BCA, MOM, WSH) preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
