Civil Project Engineer (Underground)

Job Description :

• Manage contractors in the construction of new MRT lines and enhancements to existing lines.
• Oversee contractor activities for station and tunnel construction (elevated or underground) and Addition & Alteration (A&A) works.
• Ensure safety, quality, progress, stakeholder engagement, and environmental compliance of all works.
• Assist in planning and managing project risks and cashflows.
• Handle contract administration, including issuance of instructions and assessment of variations, payments, and claims.

Requirement :

• Compulsory to have Bachelor Degreee in Civil Engineering only from this universities ( Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Nibong Tebal P. Pinang, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM))
• Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in underground construction, focusing on deep excavation and tunnelling operations.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience managing projects involving Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM), particularly Earth Pressure Balance (EPB) or slurry shield systems.
• Good understanding of civil and trackwork interface requirements.
• Proven project management and leadership skills with a successful track record.
