Job Description

Job Description (Responsibilities)

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage civil/structural works on site to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes/standards.

  • Prepare and review method statements, work procedures, inspection and test plans (ITP), and risk assessments.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve design and site coordination issues.

  • Supervise site progress and quality, including daily work planning, manpower deployment, and productivity tracking.

  • Ensure works comply with BCA, LTA, PUB, and other authority requirements (where applicable), including site inspections and submissions support.

  • Coordinate materials procurement and deliveries ensure correct materials, test reports, and documentation are in place.

  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and corrective/preventive actions.

  • Monitor project schedule and costs prepare progress reports, as-built records, and handover documentation.

  • Support technical submissions, shop drawings/temporary works coordination, and design clarifications.

  • Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements ensure safe work practices and compliance with site safety rules.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in civil/structural works (fresh graduates may be considered depending on role seniority).

  • Familiar with Singapore construction practices, codes, and authority requirements (e.g., BCA / LTA / PUB, where applicable).

  • Able to interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements basic knowledge of QA/QC documentation (ITP, MIR, NCR, etc.).

  • Proficient in MS Office experience with AutoCAD/BIM tools is an advantage.

  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills able to work with multiple stakeholders.

  • Willing to be stationed on-site and work extended hours when required by project needs.

  • Singaporean/PR or eligible to work in Singapore (state as applicable).

  • Class 3 driving licence is an advantage (if site travel is required).
