Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical works for construction and infrastructure projects
- Review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, and technical documents
- Monitor site progress, installation quality, safety compliance, and project schedules
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot electrical and technical issues
- Prepare progress reports, method statements, testing reports, and project documentation
- Ensure electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, authority requirements, and electrical codes
- Assist in project planning, cost control, procurement, and resource management
- Supervise testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover of electrical systems
- Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cable routing, earthing, and ELV systems
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in construction or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of electrical systems, site coordination, and project management practices
- Familiar with local electrical regulations, safety requirements, and authority submissions
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities effectively
- Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems will be an advantage
