CIVIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

Lead the overall execution and successful completion of construction projects by preparing and monitoring construction programmes, appraising construction techniques, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the Master and Short-term Construction Programmes to ensure project milestones are met
• Evaluate the suitability of construction techniques and method statements to optimize project efficiency and safety
• Perform simple design calculations to support technical decision-making during project execution
• Oversee daily project operations to maintain progress and resolve issues promptly
• Supervise and monitor project progress to ensure alignment with plans and quality standards
• Identify and resolve technical problems encountered on site to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Communicate effectively with Clients, Consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project operations
• Verify that all construction activities comply with specific drawings, certifications, and quality requirements
• Coordinate subcontractors across all projects to ensure seamless collaboration and task completion
• Implement and oversee the Project Quality Plan to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Enforce safety regulations and promote good housekeeping practices at the construction site to ensure a safe working environment
• Manage the processing and finalization of claims to support project financial closure
