Job Summary
Deliver personalized Chinese language instruction to students, enhancing their language skills and exam readiness through tailored lesson planning, progress tracking, and effective communication with parents.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one Chinese language instruction covering speaking, writing, and reading comprehension to improve student proficiency and exam performance
- Design and implement targeted learning activities aligned with school curriculum to prepare students for midterm and final exams
- Customize teaching approaches to develop students reading comprehension and writing techniques effectively
- Plan and manage teaching schedules by creating weekly lesson plans and homework assignments tailored to individual student progress
- Provide regular progress reports and learning feedback to parents, including organizing and grading midterm and final exams
- Communicate the need for Chinese language proficiency as essential for effective instruction and student learning outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Educational background in Chinese Literature, Chinese Language, Education, or Teacher Training
- Familiarity with Taiwanese elementary to high school curriculum, materials, and exam trends
- Experience as a school Chinese teacher, cram school instructor, or private tutor
- Ability to tailor instruction to different grade levels and student abilities
- Passion for education, patience, and strong communication skills
- Mandarin teaching certification is a plus

Work Schedule
- 5 days per week
- Daily hours: 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM, including a 1-hour break
