Job Summary
Deliver engaging and effective teaching by preparing and conducting lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Assess student progress through homework grading and ensure high-quality course materials to support learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials to deliver structured and impactful classes based on the prescribed curriculum
- Conduct interactive classes that foster student engagement and comprehension
- Evaluate and grade student homework to monitor learning progress and provide constructive feedback
- Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of course materials to maintain educational standards
- Manage time effectively to fulfill a 44-hour work week including weekend teaching commitments
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching methods and student outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Education or related fields
- Degree in Chinese Studies or Education is strongly preferred to support subject matter expertise
Other Information
- Normal working hours include a 44-hour work week with weekend duties Monday is the designated off day
