Job Summary
Conduct engaging Chinese language lessons online and in-person, manage academic administration, monitor student progress, and collaborate with parents and staff to support student development in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Chinese language lessons for Primary 1 to Secondary 4 students through online and in-person formats, following school requirements
- Plan and execute assigned teaching tasks aligned with the local primary and secondary school Chinese curriculum
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to enhance student learning outcomes
- Assign homework and mark examination papers accurately in compliance with school regulations
- Maintain detailed academic records and complete required administrative documentation
- Monitor and assess students learning progress regularly to inform instructional adjustments
- Communicate effectively with parents to support student development and address concerns
- Participate actively in staff meetings and professional training programs to enhance teaching skills
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support school operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Recognised diploma from an accredited college or university in Chinese Language Teaching, Chinese Studies, or a related field
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in education centres or Ministry of Education (MOE) schools
- Availability to commence work immediately or within a short notice period
Other Information
- Commitment to a two-year employment contract
- Availability to work on weekends
