Develop Chinese curriculum content and teaching materials for Singapore primary school levels P1-P6, including but not limited to lesson slides, handouts, exercises, and teaching guides.
Apply in-depth knowledge of the Singapore primary Chinese curriculum framework to design learning content aligned with local school teaching requirements and student learning characteristics.
Independently produce and refine complete curriculum content based on an established syllabus framework.
Proficiently use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to produce well-structured, clear, and classroom-ready teaching materials and lesson slides.
Conduct 2-4 Chinese language lessons per week to gain direct classroom insights into student learning progress and provide feedback for curriculum improvement.
Collaborate closely with the curriculum R&D team and teaching team to advance materials development, curriculum iteration, and overall teaching quality enhancement.
Continuously review and refine curriculum content based on student learning feedback, teacher usage feedback, and overall course effectiveness.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Education, Chinese Language, Chinese Literature, Chinese Language Teaching, or a related field or equivalent academic qualifications with relevant work experience.
Familiarity with the Singapore primary school P1-P6Chinese language curriculum, with at least 1-2 years of local Chinese language teaching or curriculum development experience.
Strong curriculum design and material writing skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive teaching content and exercises aligned to course objectives.
Primary school Chinese language teaching experience, with an understanding of learning characteristics and common challenges across different year levels.
Strong written Chinese proficiency, with excellent language skills and the ability to produce well-organised content.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to independently handle material layout and slide production.
