Chinese Childcare Teacher

-Implement and carry out age-appropriate activities for children

- Prepare learning corner materials (handmade/ teacher-aide)

-Ensure that lesson materials are prepared in advance, prior to carrying out lessons

-Conduct lessons using the lesson plans (using Centre's curriculum)

-Evaluate and ensure that lesson plan evaluations are submitted on a weekly basis to Centre Principal

-Treat children with respect and ensure that a safe environment is provided to children at all times

-- Supervise daily routine for children (e.g. showering, toothbrushing)

-Evaluate and document children's learning and growth process, to provide monthly updates and submit to Centre Principal (e.g. media purposes, newsletter)

-Prepare weekly activity plan using Centre's curriculum

-Follow timetable closely

-Establish good teamwork with staff, team members

-Show patience and build good rapport with children

-Participate and assist Centre Principal in planning of festive events, celebrations, and activities for the centre

-Prepare children for Graduation ceremony. For older children (K2), to prepare Graduation Speech, dance item, etc

-Prepare portfolio to evaluate and update parents on children's developmental growth

-Ensure that children are under supervision at all times, applicable also during which children attend lessons with external vendors

-Build and maintain effective communication with parents

-Update attendance and also check in with parents especially when attendance is poor/low

-Ensure that classroom, cupboards, table tops, etc is kept neat and clean at all times

-Work closely with Centre Principal and/or Senior teacher

-Ensure that classroom materials and supplies are maintained in good condition and to report to respective Supervisor (if needed) for new materials or other request

-Follow Centre's SOP (Medication, Accident, etc)
