Job Description

As a visionary leader, the Chief of the Office of Clinical Standards, Service Quality and Professional Competencies (SQC Office) will directly shape the quality and impact of our diverse professional services, including Social Work, Counselling, Research, Psychology, Nursing, Therapy and Early Intervention. They provide strategic leadership and play a key role in developing, implementing and overseeing robust frameworks that ensure excellence across all clinical and professional practices in THKMC, ultimately enhancing the lives of those we serve.


Key Responsibilities

:Strategic Leadership & Visio

  • nDefine and articulate the strategic vision for clinical standards, service quality and professional competencies across relevant disciplines (Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Research, Nursing, Therapy, Early Intervention) as well as the operational management of the SQC Office
  • .Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic roadmap for the SQC Office, that aligns with THKMC's mission, values and strategic objectives
  • .Provide expert guidance to the senior leadership team, CEO and Board on best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements relating to professional standards and service quality in the social service sector

Clinical Standards & Governan

  • ceEstablish, review and continuously improve clinical policies, protocols and guidelines to ensure the highest standards of evidence-based practice and ethical conduct for all professional group
  • s.Oversee the development and implementation of robust clinical governance frameworks, including incident reporting, critical case reviews and risk management specific to service deliver
  • y.Ensure compliance with all relevant Singapore regulations, licensing requirements and professional body guidelines (e.g., MSF, MOH, professional councils

).
Professional Competencies & Developm

  • entDevelop and oversee frameworks for professional development, supervision, and ongoing competency assessment of all clinical and professional staff, informed by current research and best practi

Qualifi

  • cationsMaster's degree or higher in a relevant clinical discipline (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Therapy, Education) or Public Health with a strong emphasis on quality assurance, clinical governance, research methodologies/ professional practice or degree in a relevant clinical discipline with extensive experience managing and leading diverse teams of highly skilled professionals (e.g., Social Workers, Counsellors, Psychologists, Nurses, Therapists, Early Interventio
  • nists).At least 15 years of experience in leadership roles within the social service or healthcare sector with at least 5 7 years experience in a senior management role overseeing clinical operations, quality assurance and/or research fun
  • ctions.Experience in designing, overseeing or contributing to applied research projects in a relevant
  • field.Ability to think strategically, develop long-term plans and translate vision into actionable init
