Position Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer will provide strategic leadership and leverage their technical expertise to guide the company's development, ensuring that operations align with Blue Star Tech's vision, mission and sustainability goals. This role is responsible for overseeing corporate governance, driving strategic expansion into the China market and collaborating with key stakeholders to foster innovation and maintain the company's industry leadership in low-carbon technologies and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall strategic direction to ensure the achievement of the company's vision, mission and long-term objectives.
- Lead the formulation and execution of the company's China market strategy, including R&D innovation and low-carbon solutions.
- Ensure robust corporate governance and strict compliance with all relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational excellence by continuously optimizing internal management processes to enhance organizational efficiency and performance.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners and international institutions, actively expanding the business footprint, with a focus on growth opportunities in China and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Oversee overall business performance, analyze key metrics, identify potential risks in a timely manner and report to the Founder & CEO.
- Mentor and develop senior management and department heads to build a high-performing, collaborative and continuously growing leadership team.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, high-level forums and public affairs activities to enhance brand image and industry influence.
Qualifications & Key Competencies
- Strong track record in market expansion and corporate governance, with experience serving as a CEO or Director in a company of at least 30 employees for a minimum of three months. Candidates with a background in low-carbon technology, energy or sustainability are preferred.
- Holder of at least three registered patents related to energy efficiency and carbon reduction technologies within the Asia-Pacific region.
- In-depth understanding of low-carbon technologies, carbon asset management and sustainable business models, with proven experience leading teams to deliver green transformation and sustainability consulting services to at least 10 manufacturing companies with annual revenues exceeding SGD 1 million.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to define clear directions in complex environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation and cross-cultural interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of achieving cumulative sales exceeding SGD 1 million in the China market and fluency in Chinese for client engagement.
- Ability to inspire, lead and integrate diverse teams, fostering both organizational success and individual growth.
