Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) based in Singapore. The CISO will oversee the organization's information security strategy, ensure compliance with security standards, and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Responsibilities include managing application and system security, implementing policies and procedures to protect sensitive data, leading incident response, overseeing risk assessments, and maintaining business continuity plans. The role will also involve collaborating with departmental heads to ensure that security measures align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Information Security, Information Security Management, and Cybersecurity
• Knowledge of Application Security standards and related technologies
• Experience in developing and managing Business Continuity plans
• Proven capability in implementing industry best practices and compliance with security regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage cyber incidents effectively
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable
