As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for DHL Express in Singapore, you will lead and develop the Country IT Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You will oversee the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring that hardware, software, and networks effectively support business operations. You will also serve as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Express Singapore, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize the IT roadmap for Singapore, ensuring alignment with the broader company strategy.
- Lead a dynamic team of IT professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Spearhead digital initiatives that enhance customer experiences and streamline operations while ensuring compliance with data protection and information security standards.
- Oversee major IT projects and integrations, delivering on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, securing buy-in for IT initiatives and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs.
- IT Consultancy and Management
- Provide IT consultancy to the Senior Management Team and Business Functions on IT issues, including business projects with IT content.
- Analyze complex business processes and IT issues, significantly improving existing methods and delivering innovative solutions.
- Direct, control, and evaluate the provision of Customer Facing IT (CFIT) integration, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, to protect the organization's assets and data.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in IT functions and/or leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering IT-enabled change.
- Extensive experience in project/program management and a deep understanding of IT and digitalization strategies that align with business objectives.
- Experience managing teams and driving change management initiatives.
- Experience in IT development cycles, methodology, and project management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to lead with enthusiasm and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Capability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical audiences, being viewed as a technical thought leader.
- Strong understanding of the intricacies of operations, marketing, sales, customer service, and finance, and how they interact with technology.
