Job Summary
We seek a hands-on CFO to lead SepPure's financial strategy, capital planning, and fundraising during a critical growth phase. This role suits candidates from investment banking, private equity, venture capital, M&A, or corporate finance ready to take senior operational ownership.
Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Capital Structure
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, capital structure, and funding roadmap to support growth.
- Build and update integrated financial models to analyze growth scenarios, dilution, CAPEX, OPEX, and liquidity.
- Lead capital budgeting, cash flow planning, and capital allocation to optimize financial resources.
Fundraising, Financing & Transactions
- Lead equity fundraising efforts by preparing investor materials, financial models, and due diligence documentation.
- Manage relationships and negotiations with banks, lenders, and financial institutions for debt facilities, grants, and structured financing.
- Evaluate strategic investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities to support company growth.
Investor, Board & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare board packs, investor updates, and financing memoranda to communicate financial performance and plans.
- Present financial results, projections, and capital strategies to investors, lenders, and strategic partners.
- Support negotiations with investors, banks, and partners to secure favorable terms.
Financial Planning, Reporting & Controls
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of timely, accurate financial statements and management accounts.
- Implement fit-for-purpose financial controls and processes suitable for a growing company.
- Provide financial insights to guide strategic and operational decision-making across the business.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- MBA from a recognized university or business school is strongly preferred.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, cleantech, or deep-tech sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Prior exposure to fundraising, deal execution, or transaction support.
