Job Description:
- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
- Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/Managing Director and members of the executive management team
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
- Advising on long-term business and financial planning
- Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets
- Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Company
- Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders
- Reviewing all formal finance related procedures
- Communicate organisation's financial and business information to investors
- Drive forecasting and budgeting to align the finance function with the strategic vision of the business
- Ensure that budgets are able to support and are sustainable to match strategic goals
- Evaluate Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) opportunities to create shareholder value
- Lead effective communication to engage stakeholders for matters arising from risk, controls and compliance
- Lead finance teams on the technical and quality aspects of financial reporting
- Manage risks by taking an integrated view of all the various uncertainties that exist across an organisation
- Manage working relationship with various stakeholders
- Oversee the organisation's financial reporting function
- Provide executive support to the Board of Directors with financial and non-financial information
- Use analytics to support business growth and needs, as well as identify potential problems in advance as part of risk management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, master degree or MBA and a qualified CPA
- Minimum 10 years of relevant financial leadership experience
- Proven and significant experience and recognized credibility in a similar capacity
- Stakeholder management experience
- Proven strategic financial planning and execution
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret, extract and analyse financial information
- High level of commercial acumen and sound decision-making abilities
