Job Description

About Our Client

Our client is an established manufacturing group preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO). As they progress through this critical growth phase, they are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function and drive financial strategy across their regional operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will play a pivotal role in leading IPO preparation, capital markets readiness, and regional finance leadership across Asia and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IPO preparation, including financial due diligence, prospectus development, investor readiness, and listing compliance
  • Drive M&A strategy — identify, evaluate, structure, and integrate acquisition opportunities to support group growth
  • Provide strategic financial leadership across Asia and Europe, overseeing regional finance teams and ensuring alignment with group financial policies
  • Partner with the CEO and Board on capital structure, fundraising, and long-term financial strategy
  • Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and reporting systems to meet listed-company standards
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, geographically distributed finance team
  • Manage relationships with investment banks, auditors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies throughout the listing process

What We're Looking For

  • Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience, with direct involvement in at least one IPO or public listing process
  • Demonstrated M&A experience — deal structuring, due diligence, and post-merger integration
  • Track record leading finance teams across multiple regions, specifically Asia and Europe
  • Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, capital markets, and corporate governance
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging boards, investors, and regulators
