Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Group Chief Finance Officer(CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and drive the Company's long-term financial success. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for shaping the Company's financial strategy, capital management, governance framework, and overall financial performance while supporting sustainable growth and value creation.
The CFO will oversee all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning and analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury, taxation, corporate finance, risk management, investor and stakeholder relations, compliance, and internal controls. The role will serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Board of Directors, and senior leadership team, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and organizational growth.
The successful candidate will possess strong financial leadership capabilities, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of leading finance functions within complex and dynamic business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the Company's financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and growth plans.
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive business performance, strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and capital allocation decisions.
- Provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Board of Directors on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and long-term value creation.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and financial management activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes across the organization.
- Establish and monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
Business Partnership & Performance Improvement
- Drive financial discipline and accountability across business units.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability, efficiency, cost management, and resource allocation.
- Lead financial evaluation of business investments, expansion initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement, process optimization, and digital transformation within the finance function.
Leadership& Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational financial capability through effective talent management and succession planning.
Qualifications& Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 20 years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership experience in senior finance executive roles.
- Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance, or equivalent senior finance leadership position.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, corporate finance, treasury, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Experience engaging with Boards of Directors, investors, lenders, regulators, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in supporting business growth, transformation, fundraising, M&A, or capital market activities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Willingness to travel overseas for work.
