Pertamina International Marketing & Distribution Pte. Ltd. (PIMD) is a wholly owned subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), Indonesia's state-owned energy company. Based in Singapore, PIMD is the spearhead of Pertamina's international downstream operations, specializing in fuel cargo and bunker trading across the Asia-Pacific region. Job Summary

We are seeking a highly accomplished Chief Finance Officer (CFO) with extensive leadership in financial governance, risk management, and corporate strategy. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in financial planning & analysis, corporate valuation, treasury management, financial reporting, and large-scale system implementation. This role requires both strategic foresight and operational execution, with regular interaction with the CEO, Board of Directors, regulators, auditors, and Group HQ stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership & Planning

  • Spearhead financial planning and performance management initiatives, encompassing investment decision reviews and corporate valuation analysis.
  • Deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and shareholder representatives to guide high-level decision-making.
  • Lead the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support long-term sustainability and growth.

Audit, Governance & Compliance

  • Establish, enforce, and continuously enhance treasury and financial governance policies in strict compliance with ACRA, MAS, IRAS, and Indonesian regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee end-to-end statutory reporting, internal and external audits (including state-owned enterprise audits), and tax filings with absolute accuracy and zero tolerance for error.
  • Act as the principal liaison with auditors, regulatory authorities, and group-level finance controllers to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to corporate governance standards.

Treasury, Risk & Capital Management

  • Formulate and implement long-term treasury and financial strategies that align with corporate objectives and global trading priorities.
  • Provide strategic financial counsel and forward-looking recommendations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and shareholder representatives to drive value creation.
  • Lead capital structure optimization, funding mix decisions, and liquidity management strategies to ensure financial resilience and sustainable growth.

Operational Finance & Transformation

  • Lead finance operations, including receivables, payables, and asset management.
  • Partner with commercial and operations teams on business valuation, profitability analysis, and cost management for refinery, shipping, and trading models.
  • Spearhead financial system initiatives to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Deliver board-level reporting, strategic financial insights, and decision support to senior leadership to drive informed corporate and operational decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional finance teams, ensuring alignment with business and operational priorities.
  • Manage key relationships with ministries, regulators, auditors, and strategic partners across Singapore and Indonesia to maintain compliance and foster collaboration.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economic specializing in Accounting. Familirisation with MySAP Implementation, Backlog Resolve, SSC Implementation, Analysis & Planning Platfom.
  • Over 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience within PT Pertamina Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, corporate valuation, management accounting, financial reporting, and treasury management.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives, including MySAP implementation and Shared Service Center (SSC) establishment.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing financial capacity, minimizing tax exposures, optimizing working capital, and supporting investment decision-making.

Industry Expertise:

  • Deep expertise in the oil & gas, energy trading, and logistics sectors.
  • Board and Audit Committee experience with state-owned enterprises and affiliated entities.
  • Proven ability to manage reporting, regulatory compliance and coordination among multiple stakeholders.
