Job Description

Job summary:

Responsible for leading the front office business lines and back-office functions to deliver the Group's strategy and commercial objectives, formulating and implementing business strategies and creating new business plans for the office in line with the Group's vision, mission, and direction. The incumbent will also manage and control all aspects of the business lines to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, build high-performing teams across the organization, and report to the Head Office on business operations, financial performance and business-critical issues/risks.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead the front office business lines and back-office functions to deliver the Group's strategy and commercial objectives.
  • Formulate and implement short-term and long-term business strategies and create new business plans for the Singapore office in line with Group's vision, mission and direction.
  • Provide strategic input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization.
  • Lead the identification and execution of one of business lines aligned with Group's strategic objectives.
  • Manage and control all aspects of the business lines and to ensure business activities are conducted within legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop high performing teams across the organization and increase employee's engagement level.
  • Reporting to Head Office on business operations, corporate financial performance and business critical issues and risks.
  • Build trust relations with key partners, clients and stakeholders.

Job qualifications and requirements:

  • University Graduate and other professional qualification MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience with minimum 8 years in management role from banking or financial industry and demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements and landscape in Singapore, experience in Southeast Asia market, cross border M&A preferred.
  • Excellent command on both written and spoken English and knowledge in both written and spoken Chinese.
