CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)

Role Overview

As the CEO, you will be the primary visionary and driver of Socratic Path. You are defining how the latest developments in generative AI and machine learning can translate into a world-class mobile user experience. You will lead the transition from initial MVP of the OutLoud app to a scalable, AI-native product, overseeing both the technical AI roadmap and the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Product & AI Vision: Define the product North Star. Oversee the integration of AI model and infrastructure into the app's core functionality to ensure the tech feels like magic rather than a gimmick.

• Fundraising & Strategy: Lead Seed/Series A fundraising rounds, articulating a compelling narrative to investors about the defensibility of our AI moat and our path to market dominance.

• Team Building: Recruit and retain top-tier talent across AI research, mobile engineering (iOS/Android), and product design.

• Growth & GTM: Own the Go-To-Market strategy. You will identify key user personas and iterate on the product-market fit based on real-time data and AI-driven insights.

• Operational Excellence: Manage the company's P&L, burn rate, and legal/compliance frameworks (specifically surrounding AI data privacy).

The Ideal Profile

1. Product-First Mindset

The ideal candidate has a history of shipping consumer or B2B mobile apps. They understand that in the mobile world, latency, UI/UX, and onboarding are just as important as the underlying model's accuracy.

2. AI Specialization

You need more than a high-level understanding of AI. You should be able to:

• Evaluate the trade-offs between different foundation models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.).

• Understand agentic architectures and how to best leverage them

• Identify where AI adds the most value in the user journey.

3. Technical & Business Hybrid

A background in Computer Science or Data Science is preferred, but it must be paired with the hustle required to sell a vision to partners and customers.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in leadership roles within the tech industry, preferably at a high-growth startup.

• Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of the AI landscape, including API integrations, model deployment, and data vectorization.

• Mobile Expertise: Proven track record of launching and scaling mobile applications on the App Store or Google Play.

• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into simple, value-driven language for stakeholders.

• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, AI, or a related field MBA is a plus but not required.
