Job Description

The incumbent will lead our ASEAN region, overseeing strategy, growth, governance and people leadership across multiple country offices. The CEO will partner with the Board of Directors and regional leadership team to deliver sustainable results, uphold high standards of compliance and risk management, and strengthen our brand and stakeholder relationships across Southeast Asia.

Main responsibilities include: -

. Lead the ASEAN strategy and annual plans, managing the region's overall budget and performance, and driving steady revenue and profit growth.

. Provide direction to country heads (including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines), ensuring consistent standards in performance management, governance and culture.

. Grow partnerships and customer accounts across key markets and developing new business opportunities to support regional growth.

. Build and support strong leadership teams, encouraging a highperformance and inclusive workplace, and planning for future talent needs.

. Ensure the organisation has proper controls in place, follows all legal and regulatory requirements, manages risks responsibly, and completes audits and reports to the Board on time.

. Work with internal and external stakeholders and representing the company in important external meetings and events.

. Lead digital, data and sustainability initiatives that unlock operating leverage and longterm value.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or any other relevant disciplines with at least 30 years of Asia-Pacific experience in the wholesales trading industry.

. Candidate must have proven work experience as C suite executive and demonstrable experience in developing strategies, business plans and managing mid to large size companies.

. Candidate must have experience in leading multicultural, on-site, hybrid and remote teams across geographies.

. Candidate must have excellent Japanese language business proficiency to liaise with Japanese speaking Board of Directors, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.

. Candidate must have excellent organizational, leadership, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
