Takes charge of the entire engineering department, leading a team as they complete various projects
To assist in site supervision works
Coordinate internally with inter-departmental and externally with clients & consultants
Coordinating the project planning, documentation, and execution of works on-site
Coordination, supervision & monitoring of the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
Coordinate with the contractor and suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required
Produce weekly site progress reports and necessary submissions
Attend meetings and conduct site inspections on work progress to ensure quality control by the authority's requirements.
To carry out daily implementation of works at the site with assistance from fellow supervisors and foremen.
To plan and ensure all implementations are carried out by the Construction program.
I discuss daily with the project team and fellow colleagues to ensure that the work is carried out smoothly and that there are no reworks or clashes with other trade works.
Study all related construction drawings and prepare and raise any required RFIs early before implementing the actual works.
To prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure the smooth transition of works.
Ensure all necessary inspections by the client's requirements are carried out accordingly, correctly, and timely.
The plan and sequences of the construction operations are by the Project Quality Plan. Attends all necessary site progress meetings and internal meetings as & when required.
Keep track of submission status like shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements & all other technical submissions.
To carry out resource planning, machinery allocations, and equipment management on a day-to-day basis to ensure work at the site is carried out smoothly.
Coordinates and maintains constant communications with colleagues from other departments, like architectural, technical, and planning.
Liaise with the client's supervisory department for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintaining necessary records at the site.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 8 years of working experience in the related field is required
Proficient with AutoCAD and other office software
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Work closely with the project team to resolve technical issues
Good attitude and communication skills
Need to be stationed at the site (Jurong East)
Willing to work 6 days at the project site
Experience with high-rise buildings would be advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Equipped with leadership skills in they can lead the engineers in completing the jobs
