Our client in banking is looking for a Chief Data Officer to join their team.
Your new role
As a Chief Data Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Leads the regional data strategy aligned with Asia Pacific business and Head Office direction.
- Drives data governance, regulatory compliance, and adoption of data standards across all markets.
- Ensures data quality, availability, accuracy, consistency, and security organisationwide.
- Oversees design and deployment of the regional enterprise data platform and cloud/hybrid solutions.
- Advances analytics, AI/ML, and datadriven decisionmaking to unlock business value and innovation.
- Partners with regional, country, and Head Office stakeholders to scale data capabilities and represent company externally.
- Builds a strong data culture through leadership, talent development, and organisation-wide data literacy.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field, with 20+ years of industry experience
- Extensive experience in data governance and building enterprisegrade data and analytics platforms for banks.
- Strong understanding of AsiaPacific data regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in modern cloud architectures, data platforms, and AI/ML technologies.
- Strategic thinker with a handson, solutionsdriven approach.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Proven track record driving datadriven transformation and enabling business growth through insights.
