Chemist

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Chemist to join our Quality Control team. You will assist the QC-Manager in overseeing quality checks for raw materials, work‑in‑progress, and finished goods, while maintaining documentation and supervising laboratory technicians. This role is critical in ensuring product reliability, compliance with ISO 13485, GLP, and cGMP standards, and supporting continuous improvement in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach laboratory technicians.

• Inspect incoming raw materials for compliance with established standards.

• Review and update SOPs maintain instruments in optimal condition.

• Conduct periodic checks and analyses on work‑in‑progress (WIP).

• Retain and analyze finished product samples from production.

• Assist QA in failure analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and customer complaint resolution.

• Support GMP audits, validation, qualification, and change control activities.

• Maintain product quality records and technical files.

• Prepare technical reports, standards, and specifications for processes, products, or tests.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Chemistry or other relevant field of studies
