Element has an opportunity for an Chemist to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
The role will be based in Tuas Loop
Job Duties:
- Perform various chemical analyses
- Maintain laboratory stocks/ consumables/ standards/ documents
- Take charge of and maintain instrumentation such as ICP-OES, GC-FID
- Generate reports for tests done
- Perform method validation/ development as required
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemistry with 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in laboratory analysis, including ICP-OES, GC-MS preferred
- Good working attitude and able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills and good reporting skills
