About the Role
Join a world-renowned pharmaceutical organization committed to innovation, quality, and patient care. We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Technician to support active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role within a high-performing team, ideal for individuals passionate about operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations

  • Execute batch manufacturing and cleaning procedures in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards
  • Operate and troubleshoot production equipment and systems (e.g., DeltaV, POMS)
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance and ensure readiness for production
  • Support digitalization and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure accurate shift handovers and effective communication across teams

Safety & Compliance

  • Uphold EHS standards and participate in safety risk assessments and hazard analyses
  • Contribute to a safe working environment and serve on the Emergency Response Team

Quality Assurance

  • Complete GMP documentation accurately and promptly
  • Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies and support investigations
  • Maintain audit readiness and ensure plant cleanliness

Production Coordination

  • Monitor production schedules and proactively address potential delays
  • Collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional teams to meet output targets

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 1-3 years of experience in GMP manufacturing, preferably in API production
  • Proficiency in distributed control systems (e.g., DeltaV)
  • Strong understanding of GMP, EHS, and manufacturing documentation
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing systems and automation technologies
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
