Chemical Lab Assistant

We're searching for an Assistant to be part of our Chemical Lab diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:

• Perform shift duty to support daily operations in Chemical Laboratory and Cleanroom environment

• Perform and coordinate quality assurance monitoring for Fab Environment, Facilities and point of use chemical, slurry, ultra-pure water and wafer quality analysis per requirements

• Perform data entry on analysis results and communicate to user on result and analysis where required

• Support the fab engineering modules on point-of-use sampling

• Manage, maintain and verify functionality of equipment and perform troubleshoot where required, such as IC, ICPMS, Titrator, pH meter and others

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Operating Instructions (OIs)

• Take ownership and perform all necessary analysis on analytical tools

• Highlight any problems or abnormalities in equipment or data

• Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift

• Ensure good housekeeping and safety practice

• Lead or take part in continuous improvement projects

More about you:

• GCE 'O level / STPM / SPM / NTC 3 / NTC 2 or equivalent

• 1 - 3 years Chemical Laboratory experience preferred

• Basic English proficiency - be able to read, write and communicate

• Basic computer literacy

• No color blindness

• Good working attitude and proactive

• Work discipline and integrity

• Good problem-solving skills

• Good interpersonal skills

• Able to work 12-hr shift (Day and Night Shift change every 4 months)
