Job Description

Position Overview

MAEH is seeking for a hands-on Chemical Engineer to drive the optimization of our CaF₂ recycling plant. The role focuses on improving process efficiency, maximizing yield, and ensuring high product quality

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and able to work directly on-site with production teams. Responsibilities include process stabilization, cost control, quality enhancement, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. This role also offers opportunities to support future projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and optimize CaF₂ recycling process within WWTP to improve recovery, efficiency, and product quality

2. Monitor process performance, analyze data, and identify improvement opportunities

3. Optimize key parameters (reaction, filtration, drying, separation) for stable operations

4. Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for process deviations

5. Work with laboratory team on product testing, quality control, and specification compliance

6. Establish and standardize SOPs for sampling, testing, and process control

7. Support pilot trials, scale-up activities, and process modifications

8. Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations

9. Collaborate with Operations, EHS, Maintenance, and Quality teams

10. Prepare technical reports and support discussions with management and HQ (Japan) when required.

Additional Role:

1. Provide technical support for future projects, including process development and implementation

2. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across plant operations

3. Develop competency to support laboratory operations, including testing coordination and basic analytical activities

4. Build operational knowledge and practical skills related to PA approval

Requirements:

. Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline

. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset

. Able to work independently and in a team, with on-site involvement

. Good communication skills for technical reporting
