Job Description:

  • Plan, prepare, and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are presented in an appealing manner and meet the restaurant's taste and hygiene standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily operations, including food preparation, portion control, and plating.
  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to minimize wastage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas in compliance with NEA and company guidelines.
  • Develop new dishes and seasonal menus to attract customers and enhance profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Assist in training junior cooks and kitchen assistants.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Chef or Cook.
  • Possess strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage, or related field preferred.
  • Familiar with HACCP, food hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
