Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Chef to support our daily kitchen operations. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, maintaining food quality, kitchen hygiene, and ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to company standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food according to the company's menu and quality standards.
- Handle daily food preparation, including washing, cutting, marinating, seasoning, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure food quality, taste, portion, and presentation meet company requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before cooking.
- Assist in stock checking, inventory control, and proper storage of food items.
- Minimise food wastage and assist in controlling food costs.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist in preparing ingredients and dishes during peak hours.
- Clean kitchen tools, equipment, and workstations after use.
- Perform any other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
