Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to lead the kitchen operations at our flagship caf. The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu execution, food preparation, kitchen management, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

. Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service flow.

. Prepare and cook caf menu items (desserts, snacks, light meals, beverages, etc.) according to recipes and standards.

. Maintain food quality, taste, and consistency across all dishes.

. Manage kitchen inventory, food costing, and minimize wastage.

. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with SFA standards.

. Supervise and train kitchen assistants or part-timers where required.

. Collaborate with management on menu development, seasonal items, and promotions.

. Support special events or catering when needed (e.g., corporate or festive parties).

Requirements

. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in caf, pastry, or restaurant kitchens.

. Strong knowledge of food preparation, plating, and storage.

. Passionate about quality and innovation in food presentation.

. Able to work independently and handle pressure during peak hours.

. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Working Hours & Benefits

. Working Hours: 11:30 AM - 9:30 PM

. Work Week: 6 days per week

. Salary Range: $3,500 - $4,500/month (based on experience)

. Staff meals provided

. Performance-based incentives available

. 1 off day per week
