Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Chinese Cuisine Cook to prepare and cook Chinese dishes, maintain food quality standards, and support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to company standards and recipes
  • Handle food preparation, ingredient processing and cooking activities efficiently
  • Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation standards are maintained
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management when required
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food hygiene standards
  • Follow food safety procedures and company operational guidelines
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
  • Manage kitchen duties efficiently during peak dining periods
  • Work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Chinese food preparation and kitchen operations preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
