Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef specializing in Tandoor cuisine to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for authentic Indian flavours and a commitment to culinary excellence, contributing to our reputation for high-quality dining experiences. This permanent, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a vibrant kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes, with a focus on Tandoor specialties.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Tandoor cooking techniques and best practices.
  • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and catering services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Indian Chef, with a focus on Tandoor cuisine.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification in cooking.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
